Some interns get cookie cake when they leave us, others get kittens.
Meet Louise Platter, rising freshman at Clarke Central (she knows Aaron) who interned with us for the month of July. We love Louise, she did an excellent job, and of course we were especially happy she likes cats and needed a kitten. Wayne had just found this one (and his/her sister/brother) in the back yard. Their momma was a stray and we’re pretty sure something happened to her; two of her other kittens didn’t make it. But this little guy(girl?) is feisty and adorable with a great big purr and meow for something so small, and has a new faithful friend in Louise. And really, who wouldn’t want to be Louise’s friend?
All in all, interning at the ABH is a pretty good gig, I think.
