“Ponyo” opens today at Cine — Andrew couldn’t wait to see it, so he reviewed it a few weeks back. He mentions Miyazaki’s 1999 film “Princess Mononoke,” which I also saw at Alps movie theater (during the brief time it was an art house) and fell hard for Miyazaki then. If you haven’t seen his films, do yourself a favor and rent “Spirited Away” and ”Howl’s Moving Castle” (there’s a whole catalog i need to see beyond those) — after you see this one on the big screen at Cine (and for that opportunity, we are really lucky!)
