This really bums me out. These are the sweet dogs that belonged to Lothar and Sherry Schweder (the couple who were mauled to death by a pack of wild dogs last month). Only one of the Scwheders’ dogs has been adopted from the Madison-Oglethorpe County Animal Shelter, reports ABH’s Wayne Ford, editor of the Oconee and Madison sections.
The Schweders were huge animal lovers and owned eight dogs. The remaining seven are waiting to be loved again :(
