Here’s April Moore Skelton’s story that ran today on killick. “Exsanguinette” is just an incredible album. I love this photo of killick and Watson, who’s done all of killick’s tattoo work (whenever I see him, I can’t take my eyes off that butterfly on his neck; it’s stunning). When killick sent this, he said it shows his and Watson’s friendship well. it’s gotta be nice to have a friend who’s a walking representation of your art.
A funny story about Watson: long ago (12-15 years?) he appeared with his tattoo artist twin brother Mitchell on an episode of Geraldo featuring twins with unusual professions. My memory’s fuzzy, but as I recall, during the taping, one bro. tattooed the other, revealing their ”masterpiece” at the end. It was a TV with the message scribed around it: KILL YOUR TV NOW.
