Just got word about this film, GROW! which will have its Athens premiere on June 7 at Cine. It’s sponsored by Cine, Slow Food Athens, and Farm 255, the latter of which will host a prixe fixe dinner that night starting at 5 p.m. for $30, but you must register by May 31.

The Georgia Music Hall of Fame in downtown Macon is scheduled to close June 12. The hall of fame’s authority voted 4-3 Tuesday to shutter the museum next month. A contingency plan already in place will mean that collections and memorabilia now at the museum will be moved to the University of Georgia.
