Another reason my co-worker Wayne is the best
His breakfast this morning: chocolate cheerios.
We discussed the many joys of breakfast cereal, during which time he confessed his favorite breakfast combo is Life cereal mixed with Fruity Pebbles.
This man is a 30+year veteran of the newsroom. Awesome.

Athens-Clarke Heritage Foundation is streaming some early vids of R.E.M. (celebrating the band’s 30th earlier this month), including this collection from ”Green” with a delightfully awkward intro from Lenny Waronker and the band, filmed in the Taylor Grady House. It’s good stuff.

Vote for Avid →
You can vote once a day to help Avid Bookshop, a soon-to-be opened independent, community bookstore in Athens, in its bid to win a grant from Pepsi. Takes a lot of money to get a business going, and this is a great way to do it. You can also donate and receive some discounts and other goodies, like T-shirts and coffee.
Fingers crossed for you, Janet —
