February, the longest month
Safe to say there’s been little time to come up for air this month. January’s layoffs, when my features department lost half our staff, have become somehow even more present in recent weeks.
It’s a precarious time in the newspaper world, but I’m holding fast to the hope that people will realize they need their newspaper, and that for all the dissing and dismissing this...
