I got a sneak peek of this last night, thanks to the lovely Kamala Lyons at Ciné. It’s scheduled to open there Aug. 29 (alongside Terry Gilliam’s excellent 1998 adaptation of ”Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas”).
The two-hour doc certainly pays homage to — more than questions any of the decisions of — the late, great gonzo journalist. But you won’t hear any...

David Manning’s photos from the show came out great. And needless to say, fantastic show. I’m not into show reviews myself (sorry — it’s a lot of work allowing little enjoyment for what you’re seeing), and in this case, certainly, the pictures are worth any words. Posting my favorite of Heather McIntosh — I loved seeing her up there, having a blast.
